The Williamson County Association of Realtors® has released the June 2011 Sales Statistics. According to RealTracs there were 317 residential and condominium closings in March. This compares to 341 for the same period in 2010, a 7% decrease.
This is not surprising since many of the tax incentives from last year are no longer in place in 2011. For the first 6 months of 2011, the number of home sales is about even with the first 6 months of 2006. It will likely be a long time, if ever, that the market will be at 2007 levels. The Williamson County Real Estate market, however, has faired well compared to many markets across the country.
