Parade: Sales aren’t as bad here

Sales slow, not dead

Realtor Lisa Culp Taylor with Bob Parks Realty says that there has been a slowdown in sales of the million dollar homes locally, but that the slowdown is not the death knell other areas of the country are hearing.

“We have seen it slow down at that price, yes. But they are still selling,” she said. “Last year’s Parade has the $2 million mark for the homes. And all but two of the homes sold before the Parade ended.”

Another 2006 parade home sold within three months of the Parade closing, and the final home sold last month, Culp Taylor said.
